|Dr. Maciej Duszczyk is Deputy Director of the Institute of Social Policy and Member of the Board of the Centre of Migration Research at the University of Warsaw. He received his Ph.D. in Political Science with a thesis on “Free movement of workers in connection with Poland’s accession to the European Union” from the Institute of Social Policy, University of Warsaw (2002). He received scholarships granted by the Jean Monnet Project, the Carl Duisburg Gesellschaft and the Polish Committee for Scientific Research. From 2003-2007 he was Deputy Director in the Department of Economic and Social Analyses, Office of the Committee for European Integration (Ministry for European Affairs). In 2008-2011 he was a Member of the Board of Strategic Advisers to the Prime Minister of Poland. Mr. Duszczyk is collaborator of the International Labour Organization, the European Commission, and the International Organization for Migration.
