|Francesco Fasani is Researcher at the Institute for Economic Analysis (IAE-CSIC) in Barcelona and Affiliated Professor at the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics (GSE). His main research interests are in Labour Economics, Applied Microeconometrics, the Economics of Migration and of Crime. In particular, he has worked on undocumented migration, migration policy enforcement, and crime in Italy, Spain and the UK.
After graduating with a B.Sc. in Economics at Bocconi University (Milan) in 2003, he worked as a research assistant in the DeBenedetti Research Foundation (Milan). He received his M.Sc. in Economics in 2005 and his PhD in Economics at the University College London. He is a fellow of MOVE (MArket, Organizations and votes in Economics; Barcelona), CReAM (Centre for Research and Analysis of Migration; London) and IZA (Institute for the Study of Labor; Bonn).
