|Dr. Emmanuel Hassan is a policy research expert in the domains of innovation, R&D, employment, and human capital. Over the past fifteen years, Emmanuel has performed extensive and actionable research work for the RAND Corporation, the European Commission, the OECD, and more recently Science-Metrix. In the fields of employment and education, Emmanuel’s work has concentrated on the labour market situation of migrants, health and well-being at work, and lifelong learning strategies. His work has also addressed the interrelations between innovation and the workplace, as well as innovation and higher education. His work has been published in the flagship publications of the RAND Corporation, European Commission, the OECD, and peer-reviewed journals. Emmanuel started his professional career at the Corporate Technical Department of Thales Group, a world leader in professional and defence electronics. Emmanuel received a PhD and a master’s degree in Economics from University Paris – Dauphine, a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Paris-Assas, and both a bachelor's and master’s degree in Law from the University Paris – Nanterre in France.
