|Dr. Shibao Guo is Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Calgary, Canada. He is an affiliated researcher with the Prairie Metropolis Centre of Excellence for Research on Immigration, Integration and Diversity (PMC). His research interests include citizenship and immigration, Chinese immigrants in Canada, multicultural and anti-racist education, adult education and community development, and comparative and international education. Over the years he has developed research expertise in the areas of work, lifelong learning, transnational migration, and knowledge mobility and recognition. Dr. Guo has numerous publications, including books, journal articles, and book chapter. His recent works appeared in the Journal of International Migration and Integration, International Journal of Lifelong Education, Journal of Education and Work, Canadian Journal for the Study of Adult Education, Canadian Journal of Higher Education, and Diaspora, Indigenous, and Minority Education. Dr. Guo is past president of the Canadian Association for the Study of Adult Education (2009-2011) and a former Associate Editor of the Canadian Journal for the Study of Adult Education (2008-2011). Currently he serves on the Executive of Canadian Ethnic Studies Association and is Co-Editor of Canadian Ethnic Studies.
