|Dr. Lucie Cerna is an Assistant Professor in Political Economy at Leiden University in the Netherlands, and a Research Associate at the Centre on Migration, Policy and Society (COMPAS), Oxford. Previously she was an Anglo-German postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Politics & International Relations at Oxford.She holds a DPhil degree in Politics from the University of Oxford with a dissertation on 'The governance of high-skilled labour immigration'. Dr. Cerna has a Master of Business Administration from Saarland University - European Institute in Germany, a MSc in European Politics and Governance from the London School of Economics and Political Science, London and a BA in Foreign Languages / International Affairs form the University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, USA.
She has served as a lecturer in Politics in various Colleges in Oxford and as a consultant, among others, for the International Labour Organization, the International Organization for Migration and the Economist Intelligence Unit.
