Wolfgang Bosswick is a sociologist, expert in the field of social anthropology, economics, psychology and Latin American studies. He is co-founder and managing director of the efms (European Forum for Migration Studies, founded in 1993), and Research Director of the European research group of the CLIP Network (Cities for Local Integration Policies). Until 1993 he has served as a researcher at the Centre of Social Sciences Research at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. From 1996 until 2003, Mr. Bosswick has been the secretary of the International Association for the Study of Forced Migration. He is member of the International Editorial Advisory Board of the Journal of Refugee Studies, Oxford University Press. He served as member of the Training Committee and is member of the Financial Committee of the IMISCOE research network (founded as European Network of Excellence with a 5 years 6th FWP grant).
